Paper Smooches Vegtastic!

I have a couple cute Paper Smooches cards coming your way this week. This is the first one!

I used  the funny little stamp set Vegtastic. Inspired by my soon to be full garden...I picked my first tomatoes and cucumbers last week...and I am impatiently waiting for my lemon cucumbers! I will probably have 100 million of them ripen all at the same time :).

I cut the basket with my Silhouette and wedged my little Veggies in between the front and back piece. The banner was also cut with my Silhouette and was picked from my banner stash bag. I love having lots of little banners and labels cut up in different colors ready to use, I stamped the sentiment using my Misti-which allowed me to double stamp and get a nice dark stamping. Love that new-to-me tool!

Thanks for stopping by today...I do hope you are enjoying a summer full of fresh veggies and fruits!!!

Hi There!!! Long time-no stampie for me! For today's challenge...I fired up my Silhouette and made a quick card to compliment this almost matching stamp! What a perfect pair!

I have a couple new little grand-nieces in my family, so I am making a couple versions of this card! I love the pop out crib and can just imagine these little meeces (friends in crime)  trying to stack those building blocks to either get in or get out of the crib LOL...Normally I would fussy cut all the pieces of the stamp and put them up on pop dots...but that is for another day when I am rested from this incredibly long more week to go!    Yippeee!!! I can't wait to sleep in-and at this point I could crawl into that little crib and take a nap myself LOL

Creations By AR Saying Farewell!!!

It's a sad day here for all of our Creations by AR Design Team. Adela Rossol, owner and designer of Creations by AR,  recently announced that she would be closing her store on July 31st due to health reasons. You still have several weeks to buy your favorite files.  Don't forget to use the code 'farewell' by July 31st!

 Adela-you will be missed!

To My Dear Fellow Crafters,

It's always difficult to say good-bye, but it is time. Many of you already know that I have been dealing with health issues which prevented me from designing and crafting. I miss my craft time so much! I discovered my passion for crafting when I was only seven years old and it immediately became my favorite hobby! Needless to say, my love for crafting will now take a back seat in my everyday life, but it's okay because I now have more time to spend with family. I'm very thankful for the blessings that God has given me and continue to give to me and my family.

Thank you friends, for allowing me to share my love for paper crafting with you. It's always so exciting when I find AR projects online that someone has shared. Thank you for your lovely words and for being such a big part of my life!

I will be closing shop on July 31st. Please take advantage of the 50% off all files in my shop.  If you have AR Points accumulated, use them before the 31st.  If you have any questions not covered in the FAQ section of my website, please email me directly at

Thank You and Farewell My Friends!

It's Nice to have FRIENDS-Penny Black July Saturday Challenge

Crafting time is still in short supply these days...I was sad not to make my annual 4th of July paper treat holders for everyone at work, but hey I did get time to color this cute image up this week! I really think it is one of my very fave stamps ever! These critters certainly have a little picnic party going on!

I colored the image, cut it out with my pierced circle die from Lawn Fawn, cut some more circles with my Silhouette for matting and added it all on an antique doily that I cut with my Silhouette as well. Card size is about 5.5 inches round.

I Wheelie Like You!

I made this CAS card using this fun sketch from Try Stampin'-or not- On Tuesday Challenge blog.
It has been a long time since I have played along with a sketch challenge...I have forgotten how much I love them!

Today I am using a fun Lawn Fawn stamp set with coordinating dies  and a Taylored Expression road die. The banner is cut with my Silhouette.  For the little gerbils, I stamped one critter on clear acetate to get a mirror image. The image was not very dark, so I went over it with a copic multi liner pen. (.30) and that worked out pretty slick.

Thanks for stopping by today!

House Mouse and Friends Monday Challenge-(on Tuesday)-Happy Birthday

Our very talented Floating DT Teamie; Kate Wiles, is hosting and has chosen

(or anything goes-and that's what I did!)

Yesirreeee I am a wee bit late for the House Mouse and Friends Monday Challenge # 197...but I can say I have a good reason. Besides working everyday in the summer...I wanted to make a special card for a little guy that needed a little lift for his birthday.  On one of the facebook groups someone posted about a little fellow that had Aspergers. His Mom planned a wonderful 7th birthday party for him and not one guest showed up.  Isn't that just heartbreaking???  I wanted  this to be a bright and cheerful card, so I thought and then I thought some more(is that Winnie the Pooh that talks like that?) is his birthday card! I hope he gets a thrill if for no other reason that it came from the other side of the United States!

I used my new Birthday Cone stamp by Stampendous, and a fun cut file from Lori Whitlock along with some super bright Bo Bunny Surprise! cardstock. (links below)  This was colored with copics-like a gazillion of them...let's see if I remember them all! Sorry for the wonky pics again-it has been windy as can be here and hard to get a nice, still photo!

My ice cream  just had to be chocolate ice cream...tis the season for cool treats!

A top view of this fun fold designed by Lori Whitlock.

I had to play around with my new Copic Kirarina WiNK pens and use one gold glitter for the candle flames and the white one for the white on the  balloons-these are super fun. Wish I had more time to play with them!

I hope you enjoy our House Mouse Challenge this time-and good golly-look at all the fun prizes listed below!!!
